Pyramid Instructions
Players: 2
Ages: 6+
Type: Cooperative
Pyramid is a math game which helps build number sense by adding to 10 and is aligned with Common Core Math standards for Grade 1.
1. Use cards numbered 1 to 10. Include the Action cards
2. Arrange the cards in a pyramid of 6 rows with cards overlapping previous row
3. Take turns removing any uncovered cards from the pyramid which add to 10 and add to discard pile
4. If an Action card is uncovered, perform the action and add card to discard pile
5. If no more matches for 10 are in the pyramid, draw card from draw pile
6. Take turns drawing from the draw pile till you can find a number which adds to 10 from the uncovered cards in the pyramid
7. If you draw an Action card, perform the action and continue playing
8. If the draw pile is empty, flip it over and continue play
9. Continue play till all cards from the pyramid are removed.
Use the blank erasable cards to create your own Action cards using wet erase markers.
